Cardiac Rehabilitation

The RWJ cardiac rehabilitation program is a monitored exercise program that helps patients to control and maintain heart health. Each patient receives an individualized treatment plan that helps them understand their cardiac condition, promotes cardiovascular efficiency, improves general physical ability, and reduces anxiety through education and exercise.

Patients are helped to set goals to improve heart health and then work with our cardiac rehabilitation team to help reach those goals, both physically and emotionally.

Counseling for behavior modification to help decrease heart disease risk factors, such as diet, weight, and smoking are also available.
